As one of LEGO’s most popular themes, if not the most popular, you can expect retiring sets to go out of stock long before they are sent off to the ‘farm.’ Some of the best LEGO Star Wars sets are set to disappear soon, including some UCS sets which look as though they’re going to increase dramatically in price not too long after.

Each of the LEGO Star Wars sets retiring in 2024 has been listed above. A few to note are the 75257 Millenium Falcon and 75290 Master Builder Series Mos Eisley Cantina. When both of these sets, alongside the 75313 UCS AT-AT, are close to retirement, expect the resale value of both too shoot up quite a bit. Whether this excites you, or terrifies you, depends entirely on your stance on investing in LEGO.
The only set to retire before the year’s up is the 75337 AT-TE Walker, set for retirement on July 31st, 2024.

75290 Mos Eisley Cantina (Master Builder Series)
When it’s retired, the 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina will have spent just over four years on store shelves. In that time, it’s been a highly coveted LEGO set thanks to the 21 Minifigures found inside. In years to come, I’d imagine that many of these will become some of the rarest LEGO Star Wars Minifigures thanks to their extremely unique and nostalgic themes. With Luke, R2, Han, Chewie, Ben Kenobi, Greedo and the Cantina band only a few names out of many, the cast of characters found here has to be one of the most impressive selections we’ve seen to date.

75308 R2D2
The current collection of LEGO Droids from Star Wars is pretty limited, with characters like BB-8 and BD-1 notably featuring. Well, R2D2 has been a staple within the LEGO Star Wars theme since its inception, even teasing the first ‘UCS’ set way back in 1999. Now, with the 75308 R2D2‘s scheduled retirement, you’re going to need to act fast to collect perhaps the most integral droid in your arsenal.

75313 AT-AT (UCS)
When UCS sets from LEGO Star Wars head towards retirement, expect them to become incredibly hard to find. This is one of those sets that we estimate is going to be worth an absolute fortune a few years after its retirement date is behind us, so if you’re a collector who needs to complete their set, we’d recommend picking it up as soon as possible. Similarly, if you’re a LEGO investor, buy the 75313 AT-AT early, because when it’s no longer in retail you can expect prices to hit the roof.

75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder (UCS)
Another iconic UCS set potentially scheduled for retirement in 2024 is Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder. One of the less expensive UCS sets out there, this is thanks to relatively low piece-count for the set. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad set by any means, and the final display serves the vehicle justice.

75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer
Already pretty hard to find at online retailers, I’ve luckily had the pleasure of reviewing the 75356 Exectutor Super Star Destroyer. An incredibly immersive build isn’t all this set has going for it, but like most other LEGO Star Wars sets it’s also going to look absolutely fantastic in your display. Thankfully, it’s not too expensive at retail price, meaning that it’s unlikely that it’s going to see an enormous resale price. Regardless, it’s a fantastic set that everyone would be pretty happy to have on their shelf, so what’s not to like?
