Here are a few of the best LEGO Animal Crossing sets, alongside every upcoming kit we’re going to be seeing in 2024.
The new theme is one of LEGO’s most exciting prospects in 2024, and some of the sets we’ve seen so far lay the foundation for a powerful partnership with Nintendo’s IP. LEGO’s principles lend themselves extremely well to sandbox games: Minecraft, Fortnite, and now Animal Crossing.
Here’s a few of our favourite sets.
The best Animal Crossing sets we’re most excited for
1. 77050 Nook’s Cranny & Rosie’s House
Without a doubt, the most exciting Animal Crossing set from LEGO is the Nook’s Cranny & Rosie’s House set, with a double feature of Villager’s buildings including Tom Nook’s famous shop.
While the initial Animal Crossing sets are quite small, in both selection and size, they’re characterised by their charming designs rather than complicated constructions. At 535 pieces, it’s not going to be a large build by any stretch.
The sets featured in the Animal Crossing theme are going to appeal to a wide audience – kids, AFOL, and Nintendo fans will all be seeking this set out, with the unique Minifigures already vying for the attention of collectors.
The 77005 set contains a range of modular items, each of which will come together to create a balanced diorama. It’s the most expensive Animal Crossing set at the moment, though we could see this change if new entries are announced.
2. 77047 Bunnie’s Outdoor Activities
The good thing about all of the Animal Crossing LEGO sets is that they’re incredibly affordable. Bunnie’s Outdoor Activities is exemplary of this, only costing £17.99 / $19.99 for a compact set alongside a Minifigure with a brand new head mould.
The Bunnie Minifigure can also be posed in a range of exciting ways – atop a ladder, hiking across a stream, or sitting in front of a campfire.
This is a great set for younger LEGO builders, with its simple complexity meaning it won’t be a long build.
3. 77049 Isabelle’s House Visit
Isabelle’s House Visit is another great Animal Crossing set that we’d recommend for anyone trying to buy a set for a new LEGO fan. It’s a decent mid-ground in size and complexity, though it still encapsulates the charm of Nintendo’s villager game.
There’s only 389 pieces, alongside two great minifigures.
